Shanghai: After Dark Dinner and Huangpu River Night Cruise

A great introduction to Shanghai with a wonderful guide. Our guide, Jenny, was originally from Shanghai but had also traveled internationally so was ideal to take us around and explain everything to us. She made us feel very welcome and taken care of and we learnt a lot about the city. We had a short walk to see the major buildings of Shanghai followed by a delicious restaurant dinner. We walked along the river promenade for about 15 minutes before getting on the river cruise which ran for about 45 minutes. The sights of Shanghai at night from the river are impressive. The whole tour was very well organised with luxury vehicles, hotel pickup and dropoff, everything made very easy for our family of four. The river boat was very large with multiple decks and viewing areas. Very comfortable. It was cold weather outside at night but there were spacious warm areas inside with good views if you wanted them.

We had a wonderful and truly magical evening with our private guide, Jenny! She first took us to a great restaurant in the Shanghai Tower, then on a night cruise along the Huangpu River to admire the magnificent Shanghai skyline. The views were absolutely stunning! Jenny was very friendly, always smiling, and shared so many interesting facts about the city’s history and culture. Everything was perfectly organized — we really enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!

On October 17th, it was my boyfriend’s birthday, and to celebrate the occasion, I booked this tour for him. We were picked up in the afternoon and taken to the meeting point, where our lovely guide Jenni was already waiting for us. We first went to a small local restaurant together – the food was absolutely delicious! After that, Jenni showed us some of the impressive skyscrapers in Pudong and explained many interesting things about them. Then we continued to a boat cruise on the Huangpu River. Definitely a highlight! The view of Shanghai’s skyline was simply breathtaking. Jenni explained everything in such a clear and engaging way, answered all our questions, not only about Shanghai, but also about other cities. We felt completely comfortable and had a wonderful time. This tour is truly highly recommended! ❤️

A day I will never forget! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Jessi was truly amazing – full of warmth, knowledge and kindness. She guided me with so much care, told beautiful stories about the city, and made me feel completely at ease. Our small trip was great. Jenny has arrived in time and we start way to seaport, views from ship was amazing on night Shanghai, after we went to hotpot restaurant, it was very cute, very interesting, we are like a children make a dish, Thank you very much Jenny for warm meeting.

Our guide Jenny did an absolute great job. The tour started with a one hour cruise at the river with a spectacular fiew to the skyline of Shanghai. After that we drove to a local restaurant and had one of the best hot pots we ever had in China. We highly recommend booking the tour.
