F1 Travel FAQ
When is the 2026 F1 season?▾
The 2026 Formula 1 season runs from March 6 to December 6, spanning 23 grands prix across 23 cities on 5 continents. It starts in Melbourne, Australia and finishes at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi.
Which cities host F1 races in 2026?▾
The 2026 calendar visits Melbourne, Shanghai, Suzuka, Miami, Montreal, Monaco, Barcelona, Spielberg, Silverstone, Spa, Budapest, Zandvoort, Monza, Madrid, Baku, Sepang (Kuala Lumpur — the Bahrain Grand Prix is held in Malaysia this year), Singapore, Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo, Las Vegas, Lusail and Abu Dhabi.
What is the best F1 race to travel to in 2026?▾
For the rest of the season: Singapore for a night race in the city centre, Austin and Mexico City for the atmosphere, São Paulo for passionate crowds, Las Vegas for the spectacle and Abu Dhabi for the season finale. Street circuits like Singapore and Las Vegas make it easy to explore between sessions.
How do I plan an F1 race trip?▾
Book race tickets and a hotel first — they sell out early. Check the weekend schedule, then fill the gaps between sessions with things to do near the circuit. Arrive a day before and stay a day after to see the host city without race-day crowds.
When should I book for the remaining 2026 races?▾
As soon as you can. Hotels near Singapore, Las Vegas and Mexico City fill up months ahead, and prices rise sharply in race week. Experiences near the circuit also sell out on race weekends, so book the ones you want before you travel.
