“Kholoud is an expert guide for the Balad Area. She loves history, architecture and conservation of heritage with a passion. She speaks fluent English and also Germa.The tour was 2 hours long but Kholoud stayed with us for 3.5. She shared some of her personal stories from Balad. She is also a comedian and her subtle comedy had myself laughing alot. We also had a peek inside some of the houses where the door was open. It is really important to get a guide who knows the ins and outs of a place like Kholoud does. If you are going to Balad dont look further than Kholoud. Her tour is worth every cent.”

Very interesting walking tour! Khalood is highly welcoming and her family dates back to living in Al Balad. Nice stops along the way with nice recommendations for souvenirs and restaurants for after.
