From Jeddah: Taif Exploration Tour with Lunch

Our driver drove a little too fast and took unnessary chances. He was in a hurry to get home.. It would have been better to go to a perfume factory where there were not so many tour buses. We mentioned the Tail souk but we're told that it's only open during the season. There is a souk that is open year round. The driver would have had to adjust the hours.

it was lovely to see the mountains around Taif. the guide was very good and could asnswer all our questions. we hoped to see some of old Taif, like the Souq and other old buildings, but that was not possible

It was a good trip in the mountains. Our guide showed us many interesting spots. We had nice company in the car. We were with four people.

we had an amazing day and Khuram our guide was super helpful and very nice, we highly recommend

A mio parere l’escursione include troppi elementi inseriti soprattutto per giustificare un prezzo che considero eccessivo rispetto alle attività svolte. L’unico momento davvero apprezzabile è stato il punto panoramico in cima alla montagna nei pressi di Taif, da cui si godeva di una bella vista e di paesaggi diversi da quelli urbani. Per il resto, le varie tappe si sono rivelate molto rapide e superficiali: in particolare a Taif ci siamo fermati solo per il pranzo, senza avere il tempo di fare nemmeno una breve passeggiata per conoscere la città. Positiva invece l’iniziativa della guida che, rendendosi conto di aver già visitato un luogo panoramico, ha proposto sul momento un’alternativa con la visita a una piccola fattoria locale. Questo ci ha permesso di vivere un’esperienza diversa, più autentica, e di interagire con persone del posto, entrando maggiormente in contatto con la quotidianità araba.

Lots of driving left little to no time to sightseeing, which was a pity given the beauty of the landscape and the city of Taif. The guide was really nice and caring, the driver too: they were the best part of the trip. Lots of time wasted waiting for some members of the group to re join the others because they were allowed to take the cable car to the top of the mountain: huge mistake as 10 of us waited 40 minutes in a parking lot for the 4 of them. Shouldn’t be allowed. Van is quite old and uncomfortable. The rose factory is a bit of a tourist trap, not worth the time. Overall underwhelming, the tour should be rethought from scrap.

Big day but NEVER looked at my watch because I was bored and wanted it to be over. Highly recommended. Must see the landscape Saudi is soo lucky to have.

Our driver Khurram was excellent. he picked us up at exactly assigned time at our hotel. he is friendly, polite and explained things really well. he speaks excellent English. we enjoyed the drive to Taif, the views were spectacular. it is mostly driving with a few stops. the rose plantation would have been amazing during the blooming season. still, very nice grounds to visit. the lunch restaurant was interesting, you could even sit on the ground and enjoy traditional meal. we opted for a table, but still had our private cabin. overall, the tour was a good experience. lots of driving time. we were the only guests, so we were very comfortable.

Khuram war ein hervorragender Guide. Er zeigte uns die schönsten Orte in Taif und hatte auch wissenswerte Informationen auf Lager. Sehr freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend!

Leider hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass man nicht nur mit dem Auto fährt , sondern auch mal läuft. Location für das Mittagessen war leider suboptimal. War ein riesen unpersönlicher fast schon dast food Laden Da hötte es besser gegeben, wie z.B. Im Rosengarten. Auch hätte ich mir gewünscht dass der Guide mehr mit uns kommuniziert hätte

Excellent day , even with all the driving. Khuram kept us well informed of the plan for the day , and managed that Taif road like a true professional. He was also very knowledgeable about everything we saw and was able to answer all the questions. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and the sights of Taif.

It was a lovely day outside the city. Our guide " Khurram" arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He spoke very good English and was able to answer all questions. I would have liked more time in the city of Taif itself, like walking trough its main markets. Also, possibly a stop at the main palaces to take pictures rather than just driving past.

Guide was knowledgeable. However we were very disappointed that we did not take a stroll in Taif traditional market, or visit the stone-built house, or a stop to see the Palace as listed in the tour description. Lunch was great.

We had a lovely day with Kuram. He is very knowledgeable, speaks English super well, is flexible to adapt plans to our lunch requirements, showed us the best spots in the mountains. Great trip if you want to spend the day outside the city.
