From Jeddah: Taif Day Tour

The pick up was at 7 am but it was only after a 2 1/2 hour drive that the driver told me that nothing opens in Taif until 4 pm. I had expected a guide but this guy was basically a driver who could not tell me anything other than in the evening there would be a lot of activity. His body odour was noticeable and he had bad breath. I asked him to take me back to Jeddah. We drove through the mountains and it took 3 hours. He was using his phone as a sat nav and also making calls with his phone in hand. We drove through hair pin bends at above the speed limit and I didn’t feel safe. His boss offered me a tour of Old Jeddah. He had to ask several people the way to the museum and didn’t impart any information about the history of the place. He also drove me to a pretty mosque but didn’t give any information it. I will not be using your services again

het was een mooie reis vanaf Jeddah met een goede gids die veel uitlegde. Een ding was lastig en verwarrend en dat van de vertrektijd van 9u, die niet klopte. het werd 15u. hierdoor konden de bergtocht via Al Shafa met licht en de zonsondergang meemaken; prachtig! de terugreis via Al Hada met indrukwekkende afdaling, moest helaas in het donker plaatsvinden. we begrijpen dat het leven hier in de avond plaatsvindt. Al met al hebben we toch genoten!! advies: maak het plan duidelijk!!

ハッジの時期でなかなか大変なこともありましたが，そんな中でも楽しさを見つけながらの1日でした。 自然に触れ、美味しい昼食を屋外でいただき、新鮮なフルーツを食べ，キレイな夕日を見て… ステキな1日でした！

Notre guide ShahRukh Younas était très professionnel et sympathique.il parlait un très bon anglais et a pu nous apprendre beaucoup de choses sur la ville et le pays,ses coutumes et traditions.il a su s’adapter à nos choix et aux imprévus de manière réactive et efficace. Raison était magnifique,nous avons adoré chaque moment!!
