Getting there
Our meeting point is only a 1-minute walk from the Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit through the Stations-side (city side) main entrance onto Stationsplein. You’ll see our location at Stationsplein 4, in the white Stromma building, just a short walk across the square towards the city center. We recommend using Google Maps for the most accurate directions

There was not enough time for the events. The cheese factory was disappointing; we didn’t see cheese being made, all cheese in the demonstration room was fake, it was just a shopping trip. The fishing village was okay but not much time there to enjoy the village away from the tourist seafront. We had no time at Volendam once the clog demonstration had finished to visit the windmills and other areas of the village, which was very disappointing. The coach journey was informative and it was good to see the countryside, farmland, water management schemes, and also the reclaimed sea area. Overall, it was disappointing and felt like a tourist shopping trip rather than an informative tour of Dutch heritage.
