Your journey begins with Zaanse Schans, the famous open-air museum, where you will admire its magnificent collection of historic windmills, picturesque homes, wooden barns, and scenic meadows. Next, you will head to the small fishing town of Marken, renowned for its preservation of traditional Dutch culture, and take a walking tour through its colorful streets. The tour then continues to Volendam, where you can enjoy free time to explore the shops or try on a traditional costume for a souvenir photo. Following Volendam, you will enjoy a tasting at a traditional Holland cheese factory and learn how cheese is made before continuing into the heart of North Holland to Edam.
