Miami Travel Tips

Beat the Heat

Miami in May is hot and humid (30Β°C/86Β°F). Wear light, breathable fabrics. The circuit is mostly concrete and reflects heat β€” stay in the shade between sessions whenever possible.

Stay Hydrated

You can bring one factory-sealed plastic bottle of water (up to 1L). Free "Water Stations" are located at every grandstand and fan zone. Use them frequently.

The 305 App

Download the official Miami GP app. It includes a real-time shuttle tracker, a digital map of the massive Hard Rock Stadium campus, and mobile-only food ordering to skip the queues.

Parking is a Puzzle

There is NO walk-up parking at the stadium. All parking must be pre-booked via the official site. Most lots are off-site and require a secondary shuttle ride to the track. Plan for 90 minutes of travel.

Dress Code

Comfortable shoes are the #1 priority. You will walk a lot at the Miami International Autodrome. Standard attire is "Miami Chic" β€” bright colours and linen, but grandstands are casual.

Transport to Hard Rock Stadium

Located in Miami Gardens, the circuit is 15 miles north of Downtown. Expect significant travel times.
