Best on Friday morning before Practice 1 (start by 9:30am, finish by noon). The 2.5-hour SUP/kayak session on Biscayne Bay captures Miami's coastal energy and gives fans a relaxed pre-race warm-up. Avoid Saturday/Sunday as timing gaps are tighter and race-weekend adrenaline makes a leisurely paddle less appealing.

About this experience

Explore the South Florida ecosystems and take photos with raccoons on Sandspur Island on a tour in North Miami Beach. Kayak through the blue waters and relax on the beach while enjoying fresh fruit.

Meet your guide and receive safety instructions and get a brief overview of the route. Then, put on your life vest and get aboard your kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Join us as we explore a variety of islands along Biscayne Bay. First kayak your way through wild ecosystems and learn about the islands as you paddle around it. Then take a thrilling boat ride to the famous Spandspur Island, commonly referred to as Raccoon Island for the friendly docile raccoons that inhabit it. You will get time to explore the island, swim, and take pictures of the animals that live on this island. We will provide drinks and fresh fruit for you to enjoy along the ride. Drinks are included and totally free; gatorade, sodas and water. There is never a rush for time. Other things to note: - You have the option to choose a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard. - Wear clothes you do not mind getting wet and a positive attitude. Anything you do not want to get wet can be stored in a safe location while we are on the water. *There are no refunds for this event.
