Sunday morning is the only viable window — depart by 09:00 and you're back by 13:30, leaving a comfortable 2.5-hour buffer before the 16:00 race start. Airboats are essentially flat-bottomed speed machines, so the adrenaline register is squarely in motorsport territory. It's also the most distinctly Florida experience available race weekend and makes for a compelling story alongside the race result.

Good to know

Airboat sizes may vary in size and may or may not be covered depending on weather, heat index, season and tour occupancy. Please note that while our boat ranger will make every effort to look out for alligators in the wild, the Everglades are NOT a zoo with guaranteed animal appearances. Animal appearances depend on various factors such as weather, time of year, breeding season, etc. Any animals that you see in captivity at the sanctuary are injured or orphaned rescue animals that would otherwise not survive in the wild. Therefore they are kept in the sanctuary. As per US government regulations these animals are taken care of in Florida wide sanctuaries to educate the public. The welfare of the animals is properly controlled and regulated by the State of Florida.

Le transport depuis Miami edt très pratique. Par contre pour le tour en airboat c'est plus de la balade dans la mangrove, très peu de crocodiles (2), rien d intéressant. Aucune sensation dans le airboat qui va très lentement tellement il y a de monde.
