Learn about Hungarian history on a guided tour along the Danube Bend. Explore the towns of Esztergom, Visegrád, and Szentendre, enjoy a short visit to Slovakia, and return to Budapest by bus or boat.
Journey through Hungary's history, experience a unique section of the River Danube, commonly referred to as the ”Danube Bend”. Start off by seeing the city of Esztergom from another perspective during a photo stop in Slovakia. Then head out in the comfort of an air-conditioned bus and enjoy the remarkable city of Esztergom, home to the largest Catholic church in the country. In addition to experiencing a great view of river valley, you will also have time to enjoy a 3-course lunch in the city of Visegrád. Afterwards, you will continue to the magical artist’s village of Szentendre, where your guide will show you the downtown area with its cobblestone streets. At the end of the tour, return to Budapest either by boat on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (from 1st May to 27th September) or by bus on every Wednesday (from 1st May to 27th Sept). In case of extremely low or high water level on the River Danube, the return to Budapest will be by bus as well.

“had a fantastic day,our driver was waiting for us when we got to reception,then straight to our comfortable coach, then set off within minutes, into Slovakia, went for a lovely three course meal in one of the most beautiful setting, a lodge in the mountains with spectacular views, would be spectacular for weddings, and good food, excellent service,stops on the way for photo opportunities, honestly I can't fault it, our guide Atila was excellent and very approachable and couldn't be more knowledgeable or helpfull, I highly recommend this day trip,if your thinking of booking it,do it.”
