VENUE GUIDE
GETTING
THERE
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Barcelona
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya sits 25 km north of the city centre in Montmeló, and on race weekend the circuit is fastest reached by a dedicated Rodalies train that drops you 10 minutes' walk from the main grandstands. Skip the rental car entirely — race-day road closures and parking gridlock add 2–3 hours to any drive, while the train gets you from Passeig de Gràcia to Montmeló station in under 40 minutes.

HOW TO GET THERE
Rodalies R2 Nord Train
Recommended / FastestTake the R2 Nord from Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia or Clot-Aragó to Montmeló station (30-40 mins). Follow the well-marked 15-20 minute walk to the circuit gates. During the Grand Prix, extra trains are added, running every 8-10 minutes. A T-Casual Zone 2 card is the most economical fare.
Sagalés Bus Service
Direct / No WalkingOfficial air-conditioned coaches depart from Barcelona city centre (Estació del Nord) and drop you directly at the circuit. Pre-booking on the Sagalés website is mandatory. It costs around €18-25 return but avoids the walk from Montmeló station. Expect 45-60 mins travel time.
Driving & Parking
Practice Days OnlyTake the C-17 or AP-7 (Exit 13) towards Montmeló. You MUST pre-purchase a parking permit online weeks in advance; there is no cash parking on-site. Expect extreme congestion (90+ mins) on Sunday. Parking lots P1-P6 are located 10-20 mins walk from the grandstands.
Taxi & Rideshare
Groups of 4Uber, Cabify, and FreeNow are available. A ride from the city costs €60-€80. Taxis are restricted to designated drop-off zones on race day, about 1.5km from the gates. Avoid for post-race exit as queues for the return leg frequently exceed 2 hours.
