This trip was good overall and as described. The majority of the cost is in the cable car ticket so I thought it was good value for money. There was enough free time at the top to buy food, explore a little, get the cable car down to the cogwheel station level, and explore a little more before the return meet time. There was still a patch of snow you could go down on free sledges even in August. If you wish to go to the cross at the top, you should do your own research before taking the trip (it is not included even though some people expected it & you definitely need to consider risks/whether you would want safety equipment etc.), and bear in mind that the queue to do it may be too long to manage in the time you have. Although I would have liked more of the information side from the guide, she was very well organised in terms of tickets and managing the timekeeping of the group. I would recommend the trip!
