It takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to walk from the ticket office to the castle, around 1.5 kilometers on a steep uphill road Please note : The Premium Tour will be propose in English only. In Winter, the opening of the Marienbrücke bridge depends on weather conditions and the castle administration. In winter only , we first visit Linderhof, then Neuschwanstein in the afternoon. Oberammergau may not be accessible depending on the weather during the period from December to March.

This tour bus was so nice! There was basically a kitchenette with a coffee machine, fresh pretzels, fruit, candy, and other snacks along with bottles of water and we had a beer at the end! The only reason I didn't rate it 5 starts was because we still joined other people on the tour through the castle, it's not a small group tour.
