“This was so fun!!! Jose kept us all very busy in the kitchen and the meal we learned to prepare was amazing. He took the time to share the story of each food item we made which made it very special. After the class, he sent us a recipe book which included what we had made, but also contained additional recipes and modifications for allergies/dietary restrictions. I would take another class in a heartbeat and will encourage everyone I know to do this experience!”
“I liked that everyone took turns with each part of the preparation and I had fun working as a team. Jose is a great teacher and head chef!”

The activity was a good time over all. Our guide was nice. However, everything felt very rushed. We didn’t really learn how to cook specific things. We were told a specific task to do and did that. There needs to be more explanation and a bigger element of fun. Perhaps it should be 4-4.5 hours. We liked the market visit. Again- it would have been nice to have been told to grab some drinks if we wanted that while we were cooking. Some people on our tour booked drinks, but we didn’t even see that option. And it would have made it more fun. Also- I think it was too many people for the space. The tortillas were good, but the chicken in the enchiladas was tasteless.
I liked that everyone took turns with each part of the preparation and I had fun working as a team. Jose is a great teacher and head chef!
