Yet this district is full of History, street food and traditions —coming all the way down from the Aztecs! Today, it’s a vibrant neighborhood plenty of art and popular culture. What will we do? A. The adventure starts @ Downtown, where we’ll take the subway towards the suburbs, while we talk about the challenge of transportation in the biggest city of Northamerica! B. Then we’ll visit a local building to appreciate an amazing mural and learn the History of Iztapalapa and it’s largest open community theater event in the world. C. Highlight: We'll fly like birds the WORLD'S LARGEST CABLE CAR for a stunning and colorful view of the Street art and the immensity of the valley. D. In between, we’ll visit a local market for the best taco of your life, and an amazing airplane converted into a cultural venue. E. Finally we’ll come back by metro, finishing at a local bar in downtown, to celebrate with a prehispanic, uniquely Mexican drink: Pulque. This experience is truly unique. Good to know
The experience is a bit fast paced, includes considerable walking, mainly stairs inside the public transport system. Regarding to the kids joining, yes they can join, the best choice is to book a private tour. Also the experience includes History lessons and many interesting information, so consider if they won't get bored/tired.
