Head to the meeting point and set out on your guided tour of Madrid's top attractions. Start at the House-Museum of Lope de Vega, the former home of the 17th-century writer Lope de Vega. Discover where Quevedo and Gongora lived and see the Spanish Theatre before making your way to Plaza de Santa Ana in central Madrid. Continue to Plaza de Jacinto Benavente and Puerta del Sol, and wander along Calle de la Salud. Take in the vastness of Plaza Mayor, Madrid's vibrant main square, and admire the Cuchilleros Arch, one of the most popular entrances to the square. Stroll down the narrow Calle del Codo and visit the Plaza de la Villa to see some of the oldest buildings in the city.
