“Ichiro was an exceptional tour guide! So friendly, informative, and thoughtful. He spoke on various components of Japanese history, culture, and food. Every restaurant was unique and served delicious offerings. We would have never found these spots wandering on our own. We let him know at the start of the tour that we wanted to be adventurous with the food and he made sure to keep things interesting. Additionally, only the two of us signed up for the tour on this specific day. We anticipated mingling with 4 other guests, but there was not a single awkward moment. In fact, we were grateful for the more private setting and had a great time getting to learn from Ichiro.”

Wow! We really did explore some hidden gems in Osaka with our fun, knowledgable, and personable guide Ferdnand. First he pointed out some interesting places that we did not encounter on a previous tour. Then he took us to three different izakayas, each more intimate than the one before. We sampled all sorts of authentic dishes and even got to interact with some local residents. It was definitely a five star experience!
We went on several food tours while in Japan, this was the best o e of all them. Highly recommend!
Ferdinand was a fantastic host! he had a wealth of information on the areas we walked through and the food we ate and honestly we learned more about Japan than expected! Great food at three resturamts including some really exciting dishes!

my guide Kevin is a lovely guy, incredibly friendly, great conpany and made it all so easy. Went to some places I would never have found - or dared to enter - on my own, he gave loads of interesting background information about the areas and Osaka in general. Oh yes, and the food was great too!
Really saw a different side of Osaka and the food locals would enjoy. NB: that’s often standing up! Great guide in Gui.
Bryan was superb. Really funny and personable, and great food selections. Wasn’t expecting to get more than the food, but we also got a little insider view of Osaka and its culture. Very recommended.
We had a fab time with Ferdinand! He was very knowledgeable and friendly, knew all the good little spots to try traditional Japanese food! There was lots of small plates so you could try lots of different things. Was so full by the end! Was also on tour with 2 lovely couples. Thanks for a brilliant time!

Had a wonderful food tour in Osaka. Our guide Damian was great! Took us to cosy Izakaya with delicious local drinks and foods, told us loads of fun facts and history and wandered with us through places we would never have visited without a guide. Very nice experience, would 100% recommend!
