Reviews

Great experience! You learn a lot about the Japanese culture from the history of samurai. Furthermore you get to do some very cool kendo training with equipment on. The guide was super knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I definitely recommend this as a cultural experience. If going in the colder months I can recommend putting on a good base layer and warm socks as it is quite chilly in the dojo. And you also practice the training outside .

A very good experience held in an old traditional Japanese house over 100 years old. The facilitator was a Kendo master with over 50 years of practice who taught not only various Kendo and Katana techniques, but also the history of Japan and the importance of the Samurai in that history.
