“Arisa was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and explained in good detail all of the sites we visited. Arisa was very engaged with each person on the small group tour, and took time to understand our interests to apply this information to the tour. We were very pleased to have had an early start, to get ahead of the tourist crowds at the important Kyoto sites and Arisa managed things extremely well. She very kindly offered to help us with public transport and directions on to our afternoon destination, for which we were extremely grateful. This tour is highly recommended, as we could not have accomplished what we achieved in the time taken, without Arisa’s expert guidance.”
“The tour was great. It was a bonus to get to the Fushimi-inari shrine first thing so we could take our time enjoying the shrine. Seeing the bamboo forest in the snow was magical! There was a glitch getting to the Kinkaku-ji shrine by bus, but Koi managed it well by getting a taxi for us instead. The Shrine was very busy because of the novelty of the snow, but it was worth the trip. Koi was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the tour.”

What a brilliant way to see the top sights in Kyoto and learn about their history and traditions. Our guide LJ was exceptionally knowledgeable and super friendly. Best of all, we had him all to ourselves so it was essentially a private tour! Going early is the best way to beat the crowds. Highly recommended.

Had a really short stay in Kyoto. This tour was excellent, we got to see all the famous spots we were looking at. Genki was an amazing guide, super friendly and happily answered all of our questions. Can't recommend this tour enough!
